Responsible gambling

Betting is entertainment that costs money, not a way to earn it. If it has stopped being entertainment, stop.

The main thing

Betting is not a source of income and cannot become one. Over distance the maths favours the bookmaker, and our service does not change that — it only helps you avoid overpaying on a particular slip.

Stake only what you can lose in full without consequences for you or the people close to you.

Signs something has gone wrong

You stake more than you planned, or borrow money to bet.

You try to win it straight back after a loss.

You hide how much you bet from people close to you.

Thoughts about betting get in the way of work, study or sleep.

Without betting you feel anxious or empty.

What you can do

Set yourself a daily and weekly limit — and never raise it after a loss.

Take a break. Most bookmakers offer self-limitation and timed self-exclusion; these are working tools, not formalities.

Do not bet when stressed, exhausted or drunk.

Tell someone you trust. It is the most underrated step there is.

Where to get help

BeGambleAware — begambleaware.org, free and confidential support.

Gamblers Anonymous — gamblersanonymous.org, support groups worldwide.

Look up your national gambling helpline: in many countries it is free and open around the clock.

What we do

We do not accept bets and we do not move money to bookmakers.

There is not a single affiliate link to a bookmaker on this site — we earn nothing from your betting.

We do not promise winnings, and we say "not our bet" in roughly four cases out of ten, when there is no edge.

The service is for people aged 18 and over.

18+VERDIKT is an information and analytics service. We are not a bookmaker, we do not accept bets and we do not guarantee winnings. Gambling involves the risk of losing money. If it stops being entertainment — stop and get help. © 2026 VERDIKT.
